File Search Assistant is a useful tool which can help you to search files. The program has a very user-friendly interface and can provide you with quick search. Before starting the search you should define the disk or folder, where the search must be performed, you may also enter some keywords. Besides, you can select the format of the file you try to find if you know it. This can be music, graphics or text file. You can select some additional search criteria. For example, you can choose the search in zip files or the search in results. This program also lets you enter the date when the file was created; such function helps you to find files quicker. You can also indicate file size, so that the program narrows the number of files to be checked. ‘Search in’ inlay allows you to indicate a definite folder as a search target. Besides, you can use text filters and text converters.
If you have to interrupt the search process, but you don’t want to start it all over again next time, you can save the current search session. Then, next time you launch the program, you just need to load your saved session and continue the process. The program also displays the recent search sessions.
